Mara E. DeBoe

Mara focuses her practice on general Intellectual Property law, with an emphasis on U.S. and international patent application drafting and prosecution in general mechanical and chemical technologies. In addition, Mara’s practice includes client counseling and national and international IP portfolio counseling and management.

Prior to being a patent attorney, Mara worked for a Fortune 100 company first in an industrial production facility and then in R&D before becoming a registered patent agent. Mara’s background in chemical engineering, together with the industry experience, provides the foundation for technology areas such as polymers, ceramics, cloth and paper technology, filtration elements and systems, medical devices and surgical equipment, and general mechanical devices and systems.
